The workshop titled “Turkish World Folklore: Development Processes” was organized by the Department of Contemporary Turkish Dialects and Literatures, Faculty of Letters, at Bartın University.

The workshop, held on October 22, 2025, at the Faculty of Letters Classroom Building, was attended by distinguished scholars from Uzbekistan who are experts in their fields.

During the workshop, the development processes of folklore studies in the Turkish World, methodological approaches, and folklore research conducted in Uzbekistan were discussed. Participants emphasized the importance of folklore in preserving the shared cultural heritage of the Turkish World and transmitting it to future generations.

With the active participation of students and academics, the workshop provided a productive platform for mutual exchange of knowledge and academic collaboration. At the end of the event, certificates of appreciation were presented to the participants.
