The Mevlana Exchange Programme is designed to facilitate the exchange of students and academic staff between higher education institutions in Türkiye and those abroad. With the Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated 23 August 2011 and numbered 28034, the exchange of students and academic staff between higher education institutions in Türkiye and those abroad was officially enabled.

Students who wish to participate in the programme may benefit from it for a minimum of one semester and a maximum of two semesters of study. Academic staff, on the other hand, may participate for a minimum of one week and a maximum of three months to teach at higher education institutions around the world.

Similarly, students and academic staff from all regions of the world may come to higher education institutions in Türkiye within the scope of the programme and take part in educational and academic activities.
