On April 22, 2025, a conference titled “Prometheus Bound” (The Literary Personality of the Tatar Writer Fatih Emirhan) was held by the Department of Contemporary Turkic Dialects and Literatures, Faculty of Letters, at our University, with the contributions of Prof. Dr. Ramilya Yarullina YILDIRIM, a faculty member of İnönü University.

In her lecture, Prof. Dr. Ramilya Yarullina YILDIRIM provided significant insights into the life, works, and literary personality of Fatih Emirhan. She discussed his role in the development of national theater, his contributions to the formation of Tatar literary criticism, and the short stories through which he first entered the literary scene. She also referred to Hasan Tufan’s poem “Mohikan,” in which Fatih Emirhan is described as the “Prometheus Bound” of classical literature. These compelling insights aroused great interest among the participants.
