The exemption exams for YDI-101 (Foreign Language English I) and YDI-102 (Foreign Language English II) courses for students placed at our University through the 2024 YKS additional placement in the 2024-2025 Academic Year will be held face-to-face on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 13:30.

• The exemption exam for YDI 101 Foreign Language English I and YDI 102 Foreign Language English II courses consists of two sections, each with 20 multiple-choice questions. There are 40 questions in total. Questions 1 to 20 belong to YDI 101 (Foreign Language English I), which is a Fall Semester course, and questions 21 to 40 belong to YDI 102 (Foreign Language English II), which is a Spring Semester course. The exam duration is 50 minutes. Evaluations will be made separately for each section and are independent of each other.
• Each student will take the exam in the building of their own unit. The classrooms where the exams will be held will be determined by your units and announced on the websites of your units. Please follow your unit’s website for the classrooms where the exam will take place.
• Taking the exemption exams is optional. Participation in the exams is not mandatory. Students who wish to be exempt from the courses may take the exams. Students who want to take the exams are required to apply to their units.
• After the completion of the exams, as a result of the evaluations, the list of students who will be considered “exempt” will be reported to the relevant units.
